Bringing industry expertise to the national conversation
28 October 2026
Phil Gacitua and Andrew Waugh attended the Safer Shared Air: Indoor Air, Health and Productivity Conference at Parliament House in Canberra, joining experts, health professionals, advocates, researchers, patient organisations, peak bodies and industry representatives for an important national conversation.
Discussions included the NSW inquiry into clean indoor air, an update from Safe Work Australia, the role of standards, lived-experience perspectives and the case for a National Healthy Air Strategy.
What this means for our industry and our customers
Among the featured speakers, Alison Scotland from the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council, Plum Stone from The Safer Air Project and Magali Wardle from NABERS contributed insights from the built environment, policy and industry.
Together, their sessions explored the case for a National Healthy Air Strategy, international leadership on indoor air, the potential for a national standard and the coordinated action required to turn evidence into reform.
By taking part, Precise and Airgene helped ensure industry experience was represented in discussions about healthier, safer and more productive shared spaces.
We were proud to support the conference as part of our commitment to leading the way in indoor air quality.
Our support reflects a broader initiative to contribute to evidence-led conversations, help inform future legislation and encourage a more coordinated national approach to indoor air quality.
We look forward to building on the connections and ideas shared in Canberra as we continue championing healthier indoor environments across Australia.
