It was a privilege to attend the first meeting of the Parliamentary Friends of Clean Air Quality at Parliament House as guests of The Safer Air Project.
We were delighted to be part of this important milestone and to see such strong momentum building around improving indoor air quality in Australia.
Thank you to Plum Stone from The Safer Air Project for the opportunity to be part of this important discussion and to hear Assistant Minister for Health, Rebecca White MP, announce the Australian Centre for Disease Control’s investment in a CSIRO-led project to assess the economic cost of poor indoor air quality. This initiative represents a critical step forward in advancing the national conversation and driving meaningful action.
Precise Air Group’s Andrew Waugh and Airgene’s Philip Gacitua enjoyed the discussion held by Senator Michelle Ananda-Rajah and @Dr Monique Ryan MP, Assistant Minister Rebecca White, Trish Cook MP RN, Mark Dreyfus MP, Ged Kearney MP, Kate Thwaites MP, and their advisors
As supporters of The Safer Air Project we look forward to continuing to support initiatives that improve air quality outcomes for all Australians.
