Restauranteurs spend countless hours crafting a memorable dining experience, from the style and ambience of the restaurant, through to creating a signature menu.
Just as important is the layout and function of the kitchen. Kitchen exhaust cleaning is crucial in any commercial kitchen, but it is especially important in restaurants.
Compliance cleaning by a HACCP* certified provider, like Airgene, provides an extra level of care, control and confidence to restauranteurs that the risks posed by their kitchen exhaust systems is minimised. Airgene provides kitchen exhaust cleaning to over 100 restaurants and entertainment venues.
Exhaust systems are designed to remove heat, smoke, and odours from the cooking area. Systems that are not thoroughly cleaned beyond the hood can compromise the taste, texture, quality and aroma of the food that customers expect from a fine dining experience. A build up of grease in the exhaust system can also damage the equipment in the kitchen, including the ventilation hood, fans, and ductwork.
Regular cleaning not only prevents costly repairs and extend the life of the equipment, but also reduces your risk of fire.

*HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is an international standard that provides a framework of systems, controls, corrective actions and documentation, with the overall aim of improving the cleanliness and quality of food production areas.
We’re excited to announce that our PAAP program has won the TAFE NSW Gili Industry Partnership Award! The Precise Air Aboriginal Pathways (PAAP) program is in it’s 3rd year and is a fantastic collaboration between Precise Air, TAFE NSW and NSW Police, providing educational and employment opportunities in the HVAC industry. It’s help us raise the overall participation rate of First Nations employees in Precise to almost 4%, and represents 19% of our apprentice cohort. Certainly something for us to celebrate in Reconciliation Week! Gili (pronounced ‘kill-ee’) is an Eora word meaning ‘to shine’. The Gili Awards celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and TAFE NSW employees, as well as innovative programs that aim to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. Special thanks to the Precise Air team, TAFE NSW’s Sharon Taylor, Emma McDonald and Gary Jarret, and NSW Police Superintendent Scott Tanner APM.
