A leading edge QA system means nothing if it’s not adopted on site by your construction project teams.
At Precise Air Construction, Quality Assurance (QA) is essential. Not only does it ensure consistent, high-quality results, it provides a compliance and documentation framework that helps guide our teams and subcontractors to meet our clients’ project KPIs and commitments.
Martin Hadigol, Precise Air’s Quality Assurance Manager – Construction, has been integral to making sure our externally accredited Quality Management System, originally developed by our National HSEQ team, is fit for purpose for Construction, continuously optimised, and accessible online so that our teams in the field have easy access.
This includes developing a clear construction strategy, managing documents effectively, mapping processes, setting over 85 KPIs across all processes and personnel, and enhancing our reporting system. Martin has also provided comprehensive training for our team and subcontractors, covering various QA requirements and process management.
Our QA system integrates various online platforms, including Nintex Promapp for process management and Procore for project management, a platform that improves communication, collaboration and compliance with our approved subcontractors. These tools enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and improve quality management.
“Focusing on making the system user-friendly and practical has led to widespread acceptance among our team and subcontractors,” explained Martin. “By aligning changes with daily tasks and demonstrating their benefits, we’ve fostered a positive attitude towards adoption, improving overall efficiency and satisfaction within the division.”

* Since 2016, we have implemented Integrated Management Systems (IMS) at Precise Air Construction, including ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety. These systems are externally audited and accredited by GIS, an international certification body. In September 2023, we passed our latest audit, with no adverse findings.
We’re excited to announce that our PAAP program has won the TAFE NSW Gili Industry Partnership Award! The Precise Air Aboriginal Pathways (PAAP) program is in it’s 3rd year and is a fantastic collaboration between Precise Air, TAFE NSW and NSW Police, providing educational and employment opportunities in the HVAC industry. It’s help us raise the overall participation rate of First Nations employees in Precise to almost 4%, and represents 19% of our apprentice cohort. Certainly something for us to celebrate in Reconciliation Week! Gili (pronounced ‘kill-ee’) is an Eora word meaning ‘to shine’. The Gili Awards celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and TAFE NSW employees, as well as innovative programs that aim to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. Special thanks to the Precise Air team, TAFE NSW’s Sharon Taylor, Emma McDonald and Gary Jarret, and NSW Police Superintendent Scott Tanner APM.
