They say that great customers make a great business, but we think that our employees have just as much to do with reaching a ten year milestone!
From one technician and a van servicing the Qantas base at Mascot in Sydney, Airgene has grown to become a national provider, servicing hundreds of premium entertainment, healthcare and commercial sites around the country.
These sites range from premium clubs, entertainment and hospitality venues through to restaurants, fast food chains, government community facilities and schools, and one of the country’s leading universities.
“There’s never a dull day in our business,” said General Manager Wissam Salama. “Our teams could be replacing filters and cleaning HVAC ducts in a commercial tower in the city one day, then completing a full kitchen exhaust compliance clean at a five star restaurant the next.”
“Our team members aren’t afraid of hard work – what ever they are working on, whether it is a grease laden kitchen exhaust or removing mould and rust from an industrial unit, they will keep going until it’s clean,” said Wissam.
Congratulations to everyone involved in Airgene’s success and here’s to another exciting ten years!

We’re excited to announce that our PAAP program has won the TAFE NSW Gili Industry Partnership Award! The Precise Air Aboriginal Pathways (PAAP) program is in it’s 3rd year and is a fantastic collaboration between Precise Air, TAFE NSW and NSW Police, providing educational and employment opportunities in the HVAC industry. It’s help us raise the overall participation rate of First Nations employees in Precise to almost 4%, and represents 19% of our apprentice cohort. Certainly something for us to celebrate in Reconciliation Week! Gili (pronounced ‘kill-ee’) is an Eora word meaning ‘to shine’. The Gili Awards celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and TAFE NSW employees, as well as innovative programs that aim to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. Special thanks to the Precise Air team, TAFE NSW’s Sharon Taylor, Emma McDonald and Gary Jarret, and NSW Police Superintendent Scott Tanner APM.
