Airgene recently completed a major HVAC ductwork clean in one of Sydney’s Premium A grade buildings as part of a city-centre refurbishment. Over 1km of ducting was cleaned to meet the rigorous standards of NABERS Indoor Environment and the WELL Building Standard’s A05 feature, ‘Enhanced Air Quality Optimisation’.
Using NADCA and AIRAH best practices, Airgene technicians removed months of construction dust—boosting air quality and system efficiency. Post-cleaning testing confirmed PM10 and PM2.5 levels well below target thresholds, helping the building achieve its indoor air quality goals.
This project proves that what’s out of sight shouldn’t be out of mind—especially when it comes to occupant health and sustainability ratings.
