Dr Stephen Wilson, BSc, PhD – Director, Australian Environmental Monitoring recently led a training session for our compliance cleaning team in Microbial Contamination identification and remediation (including bacteria, moulds, yeasts, and viruses). Our goal was to ensure our team is equipped with the latest knowledge and techniques to deliver safe, effective, and compliant remediation services.
The session specifically addressed contamination in HVAC systems, including ducts, diffusers, coils, housings, and framework.
Safety is always a priority for the wellbeing of our team, our clients and their visitors.
Stephen emphasised the importance of safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as full-body suits, respiratory masks, eye protection, and gloves to ensure safe and compliant operations. Airgene’s advisory team of mechanical engineering and operational experts advises on the best options for remediation.
